Thanks to all of our Family and Friends!

We have been so blessed to have the love and support of so many family and friends. People have brought us food and provided us with so many wonderful gifts to celebrate Danilo's birth. Maria's parents Tom Roeper and Laura Holland  and her brother Tim were with us right after Danilo's birth and have returned to be with us at Christmas time. My parents Fred and Fe Azcarate came to stay with us right after Thanksgiving and left right before Christmas to be with my sister Mylene (who is expecting the birth of her child any day now). Baby D Also got to see his Great-Grandmother Jeanne Holland for Christmas (see the pic in this blog entry). We are so thankful for the wonderful support we have received from our friends and family without which this joyful time with Danilo would have been so much more difficult. Thank You All!

    We will truly miss Dax! We have always felt like she was our dog, too! Words cannot truly express what she meant to us and we are so very grateful that Dax could consider our home "her second home." The mailman may feel a little safer now, but for sure, Dax' bark was worse than her bite. She was loving, protective and very smart. And she has been known to leave her mark wherever she felt she had to (smile)! She absolutely loved going on walks and would jump around with excitement when ever she heard or saw her chain being picked up. She was a connoisseur of select doggie bisquits and rice, and for years denied any relation to Snoopp Dogg (though the jury is still out!). But what we will remember most was how happy she was to greet those she knew loved her. Her theme song, "Who Let the Dogs Out," spoke to her desire to see all she could, whether it was sitting in Fred's truck, or peeking out the window, hunting for cats. Dax was a dog's dog...and we will miss her terribly! Farewell dear friend, farewell!!!
